Please Forgive Me

Please forgive my extended absence. I have been buried in preps for this:

That's right!

On Sunday, March 23, at 845am, we welcomed home daddy.

It was a truly amazing experience (they always are, but this one was even more special), and I never want to forget a minute of it.

Ever.

From the first time we saw each other for the first time, the look on my husband's face, feeling his arms around me, then watching him as he gave each kid a hug (I mean, look at those happy Twinkie faces!). His parents, grandma and sister were there too. It was very emotional and very real.

I have a ton of blogs to write, a ton of DIYs to do, but none of that matters now, nor has it mattered over the past few weeks. I will get there. But for now, we're enjoying us. A family.

And that is something we haven't been in a year.

I will be back.

Promise.
